3rd day of Sem 5

Can you believe it? Cuz I can't. I'm actually studying on the 3rd day of my new semester.

Everybody seems to be doing so, being kiasu lah me.

It's only the 3rd day and there are already 5 pathetic long lectures to complete. Argh, HATE IT!!! Pathetic bacterial chemotherapy, malaria and HIV... Mau pengsan already seeing so many drugs name.

I'm just too bored now. Completed one, went up to CAL Lab, and now I'm here blogging, Friendstering and checking mail.

Okies, toilet break, and then 2nd lecture!

Wah, semangatnya. LOL.

Ouch, Cough

Sick!!! San fu arr... And I need to wake up early for class tomorrow morning. My throat hurts. When I speak, it feels worse. Need to shut my mouth and keep quiet.

Why at this time? *cry* I wanna talk alot tomorrow cuz it's the 1st day of classes. Talkative-syndrome person. Haha.

Went for dinner with Venus and her bf. Haven't met her for quite some time. Finally managed to get some time when both of us are free to hang out. See what busy people we are. Lol.

Viewed the video shoot Kenneth took and Wai keng, seriously, lemme tell you it's damn malu-ness lah. I'm sure you know which scene I'm talking about. The one at the park.

Malu til I want to find a hole to crawl in and hide my face! *dig dig dig*

Argh, headache. Need to sleep early today.

1 day before Sem 5

I can't believe how 6 weeks passed by so quickly. Before it started, I was imagining how the heck am I gonna fill up my 6 week-time.

NOW: It's 1 day before the start of Sem 5.

How am I gonna spend the last 1 day productively?? Going somewhere, doing something fun and stupid seems productive. HEY!! DON'T FORGET IT'S HOLIDAYS.

New resolutions:
1. Stop dreaming in class. *I usually physically attend classes but mentally not, I stare blankly THROUGH the lecturer and slides* (note the word through)
2. Stop talking, or should I say gossiping 'fei hua' in class.
3. Stop sleeping in class. *although I cannot help it cuz I just doze off when I'm too tired*
4. Study harder, much harder than sem 4. *I dunno if I can do this. Seems so difficult. I'm not really a person who studies*
5. Stop procrastinating my assignments or other tasks.
6. Change study methods. *old one doesn't seem to work* HELP...!
7. FOCUSSSSS....

Must constantly remind myself of these resolutions I made prior to Sem 5.

Does this mean that the library is gonna be my 2nd home? Oh no, it's already like my 2nd home. Hopefully not more. *cry*

But still, studying is not the only thing. Looking forward to other stuff as well. Hope it's gonna be the best semester in IMU.

With Xmas coming up

Suddenly while thinking whether I should get anyone prezzies, I started to wonder what does xmas celebration means.

I soooo wanna 'dress up' a xmas tree. With stars and balls and lights and shiny shiny stuff. I wanna have a 'pretty' tree. Haven't gotten an opportunity to do so bcuz my family doesn't celebrate xmas.

I think it's gonna be fun. Sooo fun. Spending hours on it and TADAAA!!! MAGICAL!!!

Mum buy me a tree.

Help... My face!!!

Big PIMPLE!!! And I HATE it!! On my nose! For no reason. -_-

I need another facial session, although I just went to one 1 month ago. They got rid of every single one but now it's appearing again. Small ones are appearing near my hairline also. I guess it's due to the hair serum/oil.

DARK EYERINGS... They never seem to disappear even though I sleep like a pig. And it got worse during this holidays. Thanks to my "owl-ly" sleeping time. (Cool... I created a new word) I like using words + ly to make it sound like an adjective. I can even add the -ly to a malay word. Dunno where I learnt all these from. But it makes the sentence unique. Especially when speaking. And it catches people's attention.

Most importantly, I need my antihistamines or steroid tablets again. My allergy doesn't seem to be going away this time. :(

Uni reopening soon. Not good not good. 4 days countdown to improve my skin condition before going back to class.

I'm bad in baking :(

Tried baking chocolate brownies yesterday but it didn't turn out in the end. *disappointed* So excited about it at first cuz wanted to bake for SOMEBODY.

Sigh sigh sigh... :((

Damn 'wu long' lah. Bought the ingredients, but left out one cuz I didnt read the whole recipe properly. Only realised that when I reached home and had no choice but to go out again to get it. Then, I forgot to preheat the oven. So, the brownies became too kembang, look like a hill like that. *laughs* Somemore, the top cracked. Haih.

Looks do not matter actually, as long as it taste fine. But no, it wasn't ok too. The top was too black and was hard like stone so had to cut away the top. The inside is fine but abit too dry. Aren't brownies supposed to be moist?? Something really wrong with my method I think.

Seriously disappointing lah. No skills la tu. But I like baking, I really do. Sob sob. More than cooking or sewing or knitting etc etc.

I don't care! Won't give up so easily. Will try again when I'm free...

Bukit Tinggi

1st time I drove uphill. Halfway before going uphill, I asked Wai Keng if he wants to take over. Not my car. Afraid lah if something happens to it. But in the end, told myself to be more daring and finally I did it! Wasn't too bad cuz the road wasn't too steep or winding.

1st stop, Japanese Garden. Nice place *recommended* for nature lovers. Greens, cool air (even at 1 hour before noon), fishes, water flowing...

Just need to enjoy the fresh and soothing air. Haha.

He was feeding fish. Er, actually more of attracting them from one side of the pond to the other using fish food. (I like the background)

Very important sign! Must love the nature!

However, look at what I was doing. Bad bad Jess. Naughty naughty Jess.

Well, ahem ahem, let me explain that. I did not pluck it! Just posing only. Haha. Need to do "illegal" things for picture-capturing purposes wherever we go.

Next, Botanical Garden. Didn't walk the whole garden. I think it's not flowering season. Sob sob not many flowers like that lah. And long walk lah. *2 lazy bum bum* *2 piggies*

And then, there's the Colmar Tropicale, a French village. Nice design, I would say. But, because it was a weekday, there wasn't any activities or shows going on. Abit sien, nothing to see lorr... Should have gone on a weekend instead. People, I would recommend weekends instead of weekdays. So, we snap snap here, snap snap there, that's it lor. Snapped surroundings only.

A lovely picture of US

Wishing well

Why is he dreaming instead of making a wish??

Lemme show you the correct method of making a wish. Close your eyes, put your hands together, concentrate, think hard and deep, use your heart, and then make the WISH!

Guess what my wish was. Reward given hahaah... Anyway, it's a secret! I believe that wishes are not meant for other people to know, if not, it wouldn't come true.

We believe in wishing wells and wishes. It worked for both of us. Try it!!

Next, the Rabbit Farm. There isn't any pictures of me here. I became photographer bcuz I was too afraid to touch, feed or carry any of those animals there.

The 2 goats trying to get food which was meant for rabbits. They almost pounced on him. Haha.

Cute cute cutteeyyy....

Yes I know they are cute. But it doesn't take away my fear.

On the way home, look:

I used to be fascinated by this when I was little. TUNNELS. This one is along Karak Highway.

End of trip.

Tuesdays are Earthquake Days

That's me with the earthqake!

The 'Earthquake' at Swenson's.
As you all know, Tuesdays are Earthquake Days and there's 50% off on their Earthquake ice-creams. 8 scoops of ice-cream plus toppings. Mmmmm.... Yum yum....
2 of us finished it. Shows how big eaters are we. *Blushes* Gonna get fat very soon if I continue to eat like that.

Do you have the power to create romance?

That's the title of this personality test I did.

Link: http://www.sanriotown.com/psycho/psycho9/psycho9_us.htm

My results:

I'm type B worr... Type B means this:
Your power to create romance is okay.

But this power is suppressed due to your passive personality.
Luckily you are very good in getting people's attention and care.

It's not hard for you to get a good and caring boy/girlfriend.

However, you should be aware that people might get jealous of you.

I got pulled out of bed before 12 today. I think it's like 5 mins before it strikes noon.

"Faster get up! I'm on my way now to your house. Pick you up and go back to uni by 1 for video shoot"

And I was like "Huh?? You can go yourself mar... Need me teman you meh?" Too lazy to pull myself up from bed lah. Oklah in the end, quick quick go bath and get ready. I was fast today!

I can't believe those people can come up with funny ideas for the video shoot lah. Guys, that's why, I suppose.

Shopping time at MV!! Wasn't much of a shopping kinda shopping lah. Cuz went there with a purpose to get something only. But still, ok lah, see things abit here and there. Bought it in the end.

Recent life

Well, I decided to blog about my recent life. Hehe. Things are going great for me- studies, relationship, etc.

To my uni buddies, I'll be joining you guys to Scotland in June. I guess there will be more conversations on what's going to happen there n all, like what are we going to do, who are we going to stay with, what to bring there, etc etc. Actually, I'm kinda 'berat hati' to go. I'm gonna miss so many things here, especially my family, my darling and close frens. I'll come back as often as I can!!! (Erm... Hopefully I have the $$ to do so. Must save from now!! Guys, pls remind me to save n not to spend too much on shopping sprees there. And everything there is x7 of our currency. Damn.)

Relationship-wise, some people are asking how wai keng n me got together. Haha. Some of you have already expected it from the beginning. And I mean beginning as in very long ago like since college or the start of uni. (You guys know who you are haha) Being close/best friends, feelings developed from there, that's for me lah. And lemme tell you, it's different when a relationship blossoms from a true friendship. Cuz the both of you already understand each other so well that you can accept the person as a whole. It wouldn't end up as learning the other person is like this or like that after you guys are together.

So, well, I finally found a person whom I feel sure of, like he's the right one kinda feeling, and there's a future. Haha... Surprisingly, I started to feel that way when we were like less than 1 month into the relationship. Compared to my previous one, which I did not even feel the slightest of it. Why didn't I realise that there is THE ONE beside me all the while sooner?? *winks n knocks myself on the head* There's this phrase people always say that you don't realise what's in front of you. Instead, you look around everywhere for it.

Thank god my family are cool with him, for the 1st time ever. Shows that he has personality that they feel a guy or a bf should have. And thank god his parents are cool with us too. I would say he has really nice parents. You make me envy you lah... hehe... But it's ok cuz they're nice to me too!!! Well, I've experienced things like people's parents getting me to do something which I do not want to. So yeah, I think that's one advantage when 2 people who are together have many things in common.

So yeah, I think this post is getting quite long and I should stop here. hehe... Before I type non-stop about it.

People

Some people can be oversensitive over certain things.

Maybe it's not only due to oversensitivity, it's due to prejudice as well, which leads to that.

Any idea anyone??

My eye, right eye, feels weird. Itchy and feels as if something is pulling at the inner side when i try to open it wide. Hopefully it's not due to some infection or something. Maybe it's the lack of sleep, facing computer too much or lack of tears in the eyes. Has been like that for 2 days. I should go to see a doctor soon... Very soon.

I hate it when I have problems with my eyes. Cuz I hate wearing specs. I just need to wear contact lens every single day, even at home. Cuz specs feel so uncomfortable and it's like there's weight on my face.

Before this, I had this pimple on my right top eyelid. Damn funny I tell you. It was red and swollen. You know, the kind of pimple which has this seed thingy inside. SO well, my right eye looked even smaller than before (I already have uneven sized eyes, my right one is slightly smaller than the left --> non-symmetrical eyes)The fold on my right eyelid (I have a slight double eyelid on both eyes), disappeared! I felt so paranoid about it. Yeah, so now, it's back and the pimple is gone. But the itch in my eye, started lah. Stupid eye.

Zoo Negara

When was the last time I've been to this place? Don't remember. Probably like 10 years ago when I was in primary school. Don't have any memories about that place already. So, having such a long holiday with nothing else better to do, I suggested going to the zoo *sings song like in the old KFC advertisement: lets go to the zoo... bla bla bla* hehe.... dunno what's after that phrase. lol.

Kinda excited before going for this trip. Hey! I wanna go somewhere sooo badly that's why. I have been stuck at home or just going out for movies and jalan jalan and makan only. Nothing else besides that. Obviously I need a change. What's better... We will get to take lots of photos while at the zoo. We just love taking pictures wherever we go mar. It's sooo fun. And wherever we go, we take loads of them. A one day trip will end up in about 130 to 200 photos, depending on whether we hold one or two cameras. So, I woke up at 7.30 ok? Since when I would wake up this early???

So, yeah, I got up sooo early, all ready to go to the ZOO. Waikeng always ejek me saying I wanna go visit my relatives, that's why I'm all excited. Upon entering the zoo entrance, there was this stench, animal stench and I was like... ewwww..... But after that, it was fine.

I had to guess what's the name some of the animals there. Lemme see, for example, well, I sort of got abit confused with hippopotamus and rhinosaurous, see I don't even know how to spell them. Hehe so waikeng ended up telling what's this animal and what's that animal. Hey. Not my fault, I haven't seen them for ages ok.

And I was like being like a small kid, waning to see ziraffes and elephants. I like huge and big animals lah. Nice to capture picture with, especially when you're near them. *giggles* And the apes, were like huge and furry!! And they act sooooo like humans. Gosh, I sound like a small girl. *laughs out loud*

Wah, so tiring. Walking so much there. We walked the whole zoo marr.... And hehe waikeng complained of being tired even before me!! Yahoo.... I have more stamina than him. Haha. But still, leg also pain liao after walking. Haha, overall, quite nice lah the trip. I like going out seeing things mar.

Finally, yes dear, I intro-ed you to my "relatives" in the end, do not complain that I haven't done that ya. And I intro-ed them to you as well. Just that, I don't know how to differentiate their species also lah. Sorry for that. Anyway, the "relatives" he meant, are the MONKEYS!!

One day must go to ostrich park and intro your "relatives" there to me also ya. I wonder if there are different species of ostrich. Hehe.

KL BBC Proms 2006

Went for Prom 3 at the Philharmonic Hall at KLCC. Was my 2nd time there. Quite a spectacular night, I would say. All pieces performed were good.

The violin concerto, however, wasn't really my favourite though. I thought it was abit too 20th century for my taste. But, the violinist was good. His name, Ilya something. His skill was really good. *aplause aplause* What's more... He's good looking as well. Counted his age... He's only 24 this year. Young yet excellent. *giggle* (Wasn't me who counted his age, wai keng, you did) I sort of liked the cadenza, when Ilya played solo.

The other piece was Petrushka. Anyone who wants to know about this piece, go google it or something lah. It's actually a ballet piece then. This was much better suited to my taste compared to the violin concerto. These were the 2 long pieces lah.

There were 3 other short pieces that night. I think it's from the Classical Period. Not too sure though.

As usual, had to take some photos at the end. How can photos lari from us right.

Haha.... Up next: Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker on Dec 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2006. Going for the Dec 1st one..

Me in my new hair

So... this is my new look. I think I look older now, don't I? At least maybe now I look like a real 19 year old girl. haha... Don't know why some people say I look like a secondary school girl when I'm already in university. Or does my shorter hair makes me look even younger?
